Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of our applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to perform manual testing, identify defects, and ensure that applications meet business and technical requirements.

This opportunity is open to fresh graduates with a strong interest in software testing as well as experienced QA professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams on assigned projects, change requests (CRs), and production defects.
  • Perform manual functional testing of applications to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Review Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), functional specifications, and technical documentation to develop and execute appropriate test scenarios.
  • Ensure systems are thoroughly tested and function according to the defined requirements and system designs.
  • Document test cases, test results, defects, and testing progress accurately.
  • Identify, track, and report bugs or inconsistencies, and coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate potential risks, critical defects, and delivery issues to the QA Manager.
  • Support regression testing to ensure that system changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes and application quality.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing are preferred.
  • Professional speaking Level in English [MUST HAVE]
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with manual functional testing, test case preparation, defect reporting, and regression testing is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and technical documentation.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Experience in testing insurance applications or other core business applications is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and testing methodologies.
